On January 4th 2026 our First Lords Day Service of the year we have set aside as Consecration Sunday. It is an opportunity to stand with you and your family in the house of God and commit yourself to the Lord for another year of service in His Kingdom.
While there is no command for the New Testament Church to hold a specific Dedicatory Service at the beginning of the year the biblical principles of dedication, renewal, and seeking God’s guidance in acknowledgment that he determines in His sovereignty the outcomes of all things is a reverent and responsible thing to do for a Christian at the beginning of the year.
Consecration Sunday will be like our normal first Sunday of the Month service with Communion and a Combined Lunch but will then be followed by Corporate Prayer for our families and to offer ourselves to the Lord in His Service for another year. Further teaching will outline the principles of good stewardship and submission of our plans to the Lord for the coming year. It will finish with desert at approximately 2.30pm.
Please do all you can to be a part of this special day in the life of our Church as we stand in unity asking for God to bless us as His people for the year ahead.
